Oral hygiene: Good oral hygiene will reduce the chance of infection at the extraction sites, so it is very important that you should brush and floss even immediately after extraction and bone graft. Just be careful to avoid the areas that were treated. I recommend that you do not use toothpaste so that you do not have to rinse too much which could disrupt any clot that is forming. DO NOT use a water pik.
