Not set plan: In the first year most infants get the majority of their calories from breast milk or formula. When adding solid food the most important role is a good experience with food, learning to move a bolus of food and swallow and determine any allergies. Always give one food at a time for at least 3-5 days then continue to build. Start with once or twice a day and move up as your baby desires.
