Not recommended: Trazodone interacts with dextromethorphan in Nyquil cold & flu to increase risk for serotonin syndrome, eg, fever, confusion, increased heart rate. Also Trazodone interacts with doxylamine in Nyquil cold & flu to increase risk for dizziness, drowsiness and difficulty concentrating.
