Question?: I think your question was cut off. This description is typical for "globus sensation" or "globus pharyngis". Irritation of the delicate tissue above and around the vocal cords gives the sensation of a "lump". It will resolve days after the inciting event or it may be associated with chronic post-nasal drip/rhinitis. For the latter, treatment of the chronic rhinitis makes it disappear.
