Mucinex/guaifenesin: Mucinex (guaifenesin) is pregnancy category C therefore not usually recommended for patients who are pregnant. That being said lots of people use category C meds during pregnancy but I thought you should know. Talk with your prescribing physician. Try nasal saline rinses, increased hydration with water, and rest and see if cold resolves on its own.
