Have bumps on the back of my tongue, similar to a pimple but same color as my tissue and no pain or discomfort at all, what is it?

Taste Buds: These are usually inflamed taste buds. If you notice them growing, have them checked out by your physician.

Sounds normal...: I'm guessing you are noticing normal circumvallate papillae. Typically there are 7-9 of them in a shallow V-shaped row across the back of the tongue. Each one is about 2-3 mm (1/8") in diameter. Google it and look at photos. If you have something different, check it out with your doctor or dentist.
