Easy to detect: The bisferiens pulse is easy to identify to the experienced clinician by way of either palpation or auscultation....or even an iPhone camera app! But why are you PARANOID about this pulse? Are you in septic shock, heart failure, tamponade, or do you have severe heart disease?
