Fess up: Tell your Dentist what you did. That enables Dentist to concentrate on areas of possible problem. Never withhold information from any of your doctors

Eat with caustion: Suggestions are just that....suggestions. Frankly you can eat what every you want but the risks are yours to take. As long as you flush out the area good and keep up on that schedule you should be just fine. Regardless if you had the meat at all in the post-op check there will most likely be some type of food/debris in there and he/she will not be able to tell if it is meat.
