Ultrasound jargon: It is ultrasound MD jargon for the examiners inability to distinguish between a endometrial lining that has a polyp in it or a uterine musculature that looks like Swiss cheese (Adenomyosis) due to invagination of the endometrium into the muscle of the uterus.
