New headache: This sounds new. Any new headache refractory to pain medication and with associated symptoms such as fever, confusion, muscle weakness, dizziness, or vision change needs evaluation. Although still more likely to be transient/treatable, I would recommend seeing your physician or heading to the ED if the pain is unremitting.
