TryAWarmSoak&Motrin: This is an unusual one! If you flew, I'd venture a guess that maybe it had to do with the pressure differentials of going up then down. Kinda like what happens in the ears or sinuses, which can be quite painful! But why just one finger? Who knows...maybe an old injury, like people with gout or old fractures; or some arthritis acting up, set off by travel. See a doc if it persists or worsens.
