Retin A (tretinoin): Is mainly prescribed for acne, in theory it helps skin rejuvenation, but exact mechanism of action isn't well known. It has to be taken under doctor's supervision, yes it has a multitude of side effects on skin, it can make it darker, drier, looks bruised and can cause some other skin reactions.
