Migraines?: Headaches that are severe as you describe could be migraines for example. However, because of the intensity and similar locations when the headaches return does require further workup. Multiple other problems can cause headaches. CT scan of the brain is the quickest test to get done. However MRI of the brain will probably be the best test for you to have. We want to make sure the brain appears ok
