Itchy, malodorous (smells like mildew) rash on left groin area. when i scratch the area, skin comes off easily in flakes. antifung/bact has not worked?

Keep clean and dry: If the inflamed area is in a skin fold and not in contact with the air -- for example, if you are overweight -- then keeping the area dry probably is more important than anti-infective creams or ointments. In fact, creams or ointments might make it worse. Frequent washing and cornstarch or talcum powder might help. Otherwise see your doctor or a dermatologist for professional advice.

You really need to: see your doctor or dermatologist for culture or evaluation with woods lamp. this may be an infection and require oral medication
