A member asked:

I have a really tiny bright red dot on my upper left eyelid. it's right above my eyekashes, and kind of looks like a little scab or a mole. what is it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vascular lesion: Unless you have had trauma to the lid, the most likely diagnosis is a vascular loop just under the skin. These are common, termed angiomas, and are benign spots. The blood vessels are tiny and need the kind of microscope that ophthalmologists use routinely to see.
