Please see your GP: Fingers "freezing up" can be a circulation issue, particularly if the skin colour changes, a joint issue if your knuckles and finger joints appear swollen and stiff generally, or a nerve issue especially if there is associated numbness, weakness or pins and needles. You need to have a face to face consultation with your GP in the first instance to try and work out the cause

This could be severa: Things possible with finger "freeze up" which could be tendon issues with trigger finger, nerve entrapment with carpal tunnel, guyon canal or cubical tunnel or arthritis. Suggest to get it check out by PCP or rheumatologist, or sports medicine.
