Adrenal fatigue: 29F asks can adrenals really get stressed out? I am not aware of any studies in peer reviewed journals that suggest that in humans stress will lead to "adrenal fatigue". Adrenal fatigue seems to be a common label used when fatigue cannot be explained. You need to see a good Internist first to find the cause of your symptoms. Avoid web sites for adrenal fatigue. I recommend uptodate.com only.
