May be a problem: First, it is recommended that we get the vitamin K we need from food such as spinach, asparagus, beans, eggs rather than from supplements. IF supplements taken, the total (food AND supplement) is 90 mcg, not 120. There are known interactions of vitamin K with those who have clotting disorders or take warfarin/Coumadin. I'm worried the redness of your nail suggests a hematologic issue. See Doc!

Comlpicated: Red lunulae is non-specific, can be related to a variety of different things, some of significance. Is it only your thumbs? Do you have health problems take meds? Any other suppliments? Vitamin K1 is related to blood clotting. Vit K2 is related to bone health, possibly to heart health. K1 is converted to K2 in the intestine and in your organs. A variety of K vits is in greens, no need for pills.
