For what length of time do scabies last without any treatmet?

Indefinately: Scabies will not resolve spontaneously. It is treated with a topical rx such as 5% permethrin. It is applied over the entire body from the chin to the toes and left on for 8 to 14 hours before washing off. The treatment is repeated 1 week later. After your first Permethrin treatment is completed you can try some calamine lotion and some solarcaine to the areas that itch the most for relief.
