Chronic pain: Regional pain syndrome can be very debilitating and yes you can claim disability status. Approval would depend on the affected extremity and severity of the symptoms. Additionally, your condition can improve with time and treatment allowing you return to work. It may also deteriorate causing you to go back on disability. As long as disability is approved initially you can always go on and off.
