That's not a common: first step in the U.S. for infants 2-10 mos. who have dry, firm pebbly stools, no BM for 2-3 days, cry when having a BM & taking 10 minutes or more to pass stool. An ounce or 2 of diluted Apple or Pear juice/day may help. Since you'll have questions about diet & behavior, you need to feel comfortable with your baby's doctor. Healthychildren.org has good tips, but is geared mainly to the U.S.
