Muscle spasm : The nose bleeds are likely from dry air created by your furnace. A cool mist humidifier in your room does wonders for nose and sinus membranes. Your back sounds like a muscle spasm. Get on the floor and do some stretches a few times a day. If no improvement after 10 days, see an inexpensive chiropractor.
