What could be the cause of nose bleeding from the left nostril and lower back pain on the left side?

Epistaxis: Not sure if the 2 are related, did you have any recent blood tests to check your platelet level? Nose bleeding can be from a burst vessel in the nostril or sinus infection or nasal allergies.
