A member asked:

I have had numbness in the tip of my middle and ring finger on my left hand for a few weeks. it's a constant numbness, even present when i'm relaxing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Numbness: Numbness of fingers can be due to pinching of nerves at the wrist such as seen in carpal tunnel syndrome. Since only the very tips of two fingers are involved, a localized neuropathy may be the cause. At this point your symptoms are minor, but if they worsen or start to involve other regions of the hand, consult a hand SURGEON or neurologist for diagnosis and treatment.
