Can being on a period affect blood work? i need pre-op blood work for a d & c hysteroscopy and bilateral operative cystectomy.

It should not: If your period is extremely heavy, it might make you a little more anemic. Unless your anemia is severe and already borderline, this should not interfere with the planned surgery.
