I have a small painless bump inside my right nostril which seems to be between the septum and the fleshy outer part. i do pick my nose sometimes.

Cyst: is most probable since it doesn't hurt. You could apply warm compresses (corner of warm washcloth might do) as often as you can to see if it decompresses. If not, and if it is bothersome to you, it could be drained or removed. Picking your nose is doing no harm.
