Nerve,vein or muscle: Are you certain that a vein is the culprit? With associated numbness the problem could be with a pinched nerve from a spinal disorder like a disc problem. It's best to have your physician examine you and order the appropriate tests such as ultrasound of the leg veins or MRI of the spine if necessary.
