You asked!!: That shouldn't be a big problem. Ingrowns usually start with a little pain, redness and swelling. They are generally found on the corners of the big nails, but can affect any nail. Untreated, they quickly can become infected. The nail area now becomes more swollen, redder and a lot more painful. In time, drainage, including serous fluid, pus and necrosis begins to stink to high Heaven. Helped you?

Ingrown toenail.: You will usually have pain along the sides and tips of your toenail borders, if you have ingrown toenail. And, if these borders are also red and swollen, you may also have an infected ingrown toenail problem.
