A member asked:

No taste only on tip of tongue. rest of tongue is normal but tip is numb/tasteless. nothing's changed but pinched nerve 15+yrs in neck. why?? causes??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Facial nerve damage: The facial nerve is responsible for the sensation of taste in the front part of the tongue. If it was damaged in the "pinched nerve" then that could be the cause. If this is a new problem then you might want to consult a neurologist for evaluation.
