Probably not normal: Some dried yellow discoloration on panties is normal as vaginal secretions often turn yellow/brown when they dry. A thick yellow discharge from the vagina though is not normal, and even without other symptoms can be a signs of a sexually transmitted infection and needs to be checked out. Yeast infection or BV would usually not be yellow, but if you are not at risk sexually is another possibility.
