A member asked:

Which type of jobs are out there for people with schizophrenia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many: It depends on how emotionally stable the person is, and how free of symptoms. Often, people with schizophrenia are uncomfortable interacting with others, and prefer jobs with less contact eg, manufacturing, stockroom, night watchman, etc. But some people function quite well despite the disorder, and can in theory do virtually any job.
