Hello. i had an umbilical hernia repair 13 days ago. everything was going ok until 2 days ago. now whenever i stand or bend i have excruciating pain where the hernia was. i haven't done anything to tear my sutures, and i haven't felt anything pop or tear

Could be normal but: It depend how is the hernia is repaired open or laparoscopic,with or without a screen or mesh.the pain could be normal but unusual to have so much pain without any incident or trauma , my advise is to see your surgeon and share this information . If I was your surgeon I would like to know how you are doing and any changes in the status of your pain .
