A member asked:

Could a passed flu or cold influence the results of cbc a week after more specifically neutropolis and lymphocytes counts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be: it is a vague question. Flu may be followed by bacterial infection and cause increased neutrophils. A usual cold should not materially alter the WBC counts and differential counts.
