Discuss with surgeon: Might I recommend Sitz baths. When I was in practice I charged $10.00 for the hemorroidectomy and $1000.00 / day to rent the Sitz bath :) Also Fentynl lolly pops and Duragesic patches are very effective. Also, take Miralax (polyethylene glycol) and DSS to keep the stools soft. Begin 5-7 days before surgery
