A member asked:

I have 2 small lumps on each side of my lowerback dimples, not visible(only feeling), not painful, & sorta movable.what can it be? is it an emergency?

Most likely: it is a lipoma but it could be also a cyst. It does not sound like cancer. If it gets bigger or become painful see your doctor.

Not an emergency: As a rule of thumb, if a finding is symmetric on both sides of the body, it is very likely to be normal anatomy. Your description is vague, but you are most likely describing part of your paraspinal musculature which runs along both sides of the spine and can often bunch up in knots of lumps which can be tender to pressure. It's extraordinarily unlikely for 2 concerning masses to be symmetric.
