Yes and no: If the material inside had germs or the content soured the kid might develop vomiting and or diarrhea within 24-48 hours.Otherwise consider it part of kids exploratory endeavors. Mouthing and eating debris is not unusual for small kids, and yours has probably consumed fuzz and bugs off the floor that you never knew about.
