See his doctor: Could have started as a viral upper respiratory tract infection, it is the season, but bacterial infection may have kicked in, can still be his sinuses, his middle ears or lower airways, medical evaluation will tell, meanwhile give him something for fever, avoid aspirin, saline nasal washes, enough fluids and rest till you see his doctor, wish you both wellness
