For a 2 yo with a fever tylenol (acetaminophen) is acceptable and you should dose it at 10 to 15 mg per kilo of weight, give it 4- 6 hrs apart. I do no recommend the tylenol (acetaminophen) Motrin game that er's have been doing lately. Fever tends to last about 4 days. If your child is very sick with or w/o fever you should see ur doctor.
