A member asked:

Healthy nonsmoker, 34 yrs old.have had bad headache for a week-no drooping/slurring,etc.if aneurysm, would i know it by now?risk of aneurysm or tumor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Headache: Unless you have had a recent MRA or CTA which was negative for aneurysm, such an evaluation could be considered if you are worried about an aneurysm. Is this a new headache or the worst you have had? If so urgent evaluation is warranted. If you have chronic, recurrent similar headaches and have had prior work up, then contact your primary care provider or your neurologist for further advice.
