Ingestion of <150 mg: per kilogram of body weight usually produces no toxicity or mild toxicity. If you are absolutely certain that she ate no more than 2 adult chewable tablets of Pepto-Bismol, she will probably be okay. If not certain, take her to a hospital-based pediatric ER where a plasma salicylate concentration can be determined. Keep all prescription, OTC, herbal & other drugs out of the reach of children.
