Numbness: The numbness may be caused by the infection. You should have seeked help 5 months ago. You must be immediately seen by an oral surgeon for treatment.

Facial Paresthesia: also called sensation of numbness and tingling. Some of the common causes of Facial Paresthesia are hormonal irregularities, nutritional deficiency, tooth infection, etc. See your dentist to eliminate tooth infection ASAP.
