Tightness: I would suggest trying some local heat and that I'm in and and anti-inflammatory may help in the form of Advil or Aleve (naproxen)

Sitters disease?: Hi Edward, Back pain is one of my specialities. In most people it is caused by sitters disease or the way you walk (gait such as foot position). But other problems need to be ruled out?

Back tightness: In most cases back tightness is due to pulled muscle. Pain relief like paracetamol, anti- inflammatories like ibuprofen and muscle relaxants like norflex can be tried provided one is not allergic to them and don't have any other medical problems. core strengthening exercises would a great idea . http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/rehabilitation-exercises/core-strengthening-stability
