Depends on severity: Treatment for lupus is dependent on the activity of the disease process which may lead to organ damage if left untreated. Hello, I have lupus as we all as recurring pericarditis. The treatment plan would be Kineret for the pericarditis, Plaquenil for Lupus as well as a low-dose steroid. Is this a bit much or does it seem adequate?
