I wear glasses to help me read. but when i'm not wearing them i feel like there's a type of film over my eyes. my glasses were made from my eye doctor?

Visual acuity: Those of us in middle-age who develop need for glasses to assist in reading may have presbyopia, while hyperopia (far-sightedness) typically develops at earlier age (and also requires glasses for reading). Regardless, if you notice a film over your eyes w/o using glasses, it's time to return to your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist for further evaluation. Perhaps you're myopic (near-sighted) too?
