Maybe (not): Passing blood in early pregnancy is always cause for some concern. Its possible that in this instance the bleeding is related to intercourse the night before; however, it could also be signs of a miscarriage. At 3 weeks, it can be hard to tell without running some blood-tests over the course of several days. You should call your Ob for advice. Best wishes!
