I have pulled a single 2-3 inch long hair when clearing my throat in 3 different occasions. i don't bite my hair. where is it coming from?

Hair: It must be somehow coming in from the outside. Perhaps when you are sleeping you inadvertently swallow a hair? There are certain germ cell tumors that have hair in them but they would not cause hair to come from the throat.
