Check expiration: Nasacort (triamcinolone) (I assume nasaqort is a misspelling) is a nasal steroid spray that helps reduce inflammation in the nose. It is approved for children 2 year or older. There is an expiration date for its effectiveness, which should be checked. Nasacort (triamcinolone) is now available over the counter as well. It is advisable to check with your doctor to evaluate a sinus infection and determine if antibiotics are needed.

Wouldn't help: If the kid does have a sinus infection the only thing giving Nasacort would do is delay proper treatment.

See a Pediatrician.: You should never give your child (or anyone else) medication that was prescribed specifically for you. In this specific situation, you don't know the potency of the medication (what may be "fine" for you may be too potent for your child), nor if what your child has is the same condition as you. Check with his/her pediatrician or use HealthTap Prime. Good luck.
