Depends: Neither one is usually indicated for allergic reactions. You should consider seeing an allergist. Besides there are different forms of allergies- one form is the typical allergic reaction(hay fever, asthma etc) mediated by IgE, the other form may be a contact dermatitis which would not respond at all to antihistamine.
