Depends!: If you are an otherwise health person and not on blood thinning medication a small cut that is no longer bleeding should heal fine. Just keep it clean and observe it for infection which normally will occur within 3 days. If any questions see your physician for evaluation.

See below: If the cut is closed(the edges not apart) just a triple antibiotic ointment and bandaid. If the wound is slightly apart and not deep> flush with hydrogen peroxide briefly and close with Steri-strips to hold the wound closed>antibiotic ointment. If the wound is more than 2 mm apart> may need sutures >see MD

Yes: Hard to tell how small is small as you may need stitches. If your tetanus shot is not up to date ,you will need that as well.meanwhile,clean the wound well with clean water and apply antibiotic ointment and dressing. Stitches need to be placed within a set of hours . If it just happened and you are in the UK you may wait till morning to get it checked.If you passed out or feel dizzy,see doc now
