It happens: Unfortunately the pain sensors of our system have some overlap. You can have dental or jawbone, jaw joint problems that sent pain messages that are perceived as ear pain. I would take an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen for a few days and see if it helps. If it persists or worsens seek additional help.
